So that means 90's I assume. And a transparent caseback. Wow. Would love to learn more about this piece and movement. Love your cuff links. Would also be interested to know how you managed to get your screen name. :-)

What a lovely piece, congratulations smiley.  I wasn't familiar with this model; the lugs are very architectural and the whole concept is quite striking.  What year?  I'm getting an early '90s vibe cool. For those interested, the cal. 1017 was a genuine shaped movement (!!) of 9-lignes based on JLC 822 ebauche with a frequency of 21,600vph.

The original posting mentioned 2003, but I thought they were made between 2000-2001 in a limited number of 600 in RG, YG and WG. The watch case and dial are based on an earlier design from about 1936 although that earlier one did not have a shaped movement. It was round. They're a bit difficult to find these days but quite an unique watch, very distinctive and masculine. I don't think this model 91030 had a lady's version, but the earlier one did.

What an interesting design, very handsomely monochromatic in white gold. Thank you for sharing your lovely acquisition with us. As a newcomer to The Hour Lounger, I am continually amazed at the generosity of loungers such as yourself, as well as the consideration of veterans like tick-talk and JB, who so thoughtfully grace this discussion forum with their knowledge and insights.
This is a beautiful piece

Thank you for your congratulations! The watch is probably from 2000 but it was bought in 2003. It is a remake from the 1930 years. The original carrée at that time was smaller and had a round calibre. The cufflinks were spacially done for me by an viennese juweler in white gold (handmade!) ! For kk: about my screen name: Because i'm a Vacheron maniac and collector ............. i have done an agreement with the devil ! wink
