Vacheron Moonphase

Dear Forum members,

I have this watch since 2008.

Unfortunately it is a Franken as the movement is an adaptation from a P454/5B.

I am trying to buy a V495 for this watch, and I expect to receive a "correct" movement for the watch.

In your opinion the case and the dial are authentic?

If I get a correct movemnet and send the watch to Vachero & Constantin do they assemble the movement in the case?

Thanks for all your feedback.

Regards,

João Santos

Hi,

Thanks for your reply Alex.

But do you believe that the case is from V&C but it is not from this model?

I found in this book, (AUGENWEIDE ARMBANDUHRE VACHERON CONSTANTIN byAnton Kreuzer), inside the same a picture from a Vacheron Moonphase model with the "cornes de vache" lugs

I konw I have been fooled by some scamer but I sitll have some expectations with the case being original Vacheron.

I will try to get the watch open by some trusty watchmaker and post better pictures.

The dial have bolts on top and bottom, do you know if this is common in this model.

Thanks
