VC 222 serials research!

Me and other italian owners of VC 222 are searching informations about 222's serials, to calculate the number of pieces producted from 1977 to last year of production.

At this moment serials' range goes from n.522125 to n.5224XX, so less than 400 pieces for stell model.

Gold and S+G have different serials, but we have not much references for gold and G+S...

So, I ask to 222 owner to send me (or post) your serials and and if your watch is on steel, gold or s+g.

Thanks, Leonardo

PS If moderators authorize me, I can post the link (to italian forum) of our reseach, where it's possible even see some good photo!

good luck on the research and keep us posted. No problem in posting a

Now I hope that somebody posts some serials!

Silly question Leornado but,

have you really asked VC about how many they made?

In naming VC , I mean  Dominique Bernaz, Directeur la Maison VacheronConstantin ?

It seems curious to me that you shouldn't get an correct answer.

At the moment he is on his way to Japan,

some guy's may see the world at least twice a year,

and he is one of them

If you haven't contacted him,

I can do it for you

Hi Doc, VC usually don't give information on production numbers but

why not give it a try?

02/20/2008 - 20:32

I haven't asked to VC informations about 222: in a old discussion

(, Alex told me that rarely VC releases dettailled informations. Then I renounced even to statement: so I stopped all.

But, if there's just one chance to have some informations about this beautiful watch, why not try!

OK Leonardo
