VC Digital Archive - Finally!

VC Digital Archive - Finally!

Hope the speed of entry improves as they continue to perfect the process.  I cannot bear to wait 36 more years for completion crying

Exciting project!

36 years!!!! Oh, my gosh!  Well, very interesting nonetheless.

Thanks for sharing the link.  I was trying to determine which watch M. Marchenoir was wearing.  Any guesses?

This system at least its prototype was on display at Maison Vacheron at the SIHH and was truly fascinating even in the early stages.

It looks like they have made significant progress!

The work of digitizing their records is truly a daunting one. Hopefully it will take less than 36 years to do. Julien had said that the fragility of the documents even in a controlled environment made this digitization essential.

BTW I really liked the head-band tightener on one of the viewers. Looks like a VC crown...nice touch.

those who were at SIHH last year tried it first hand!! Its quite an experience

I took a trip in May at the Time-Crafters show. Quite a ride!

The touchpad is really sensitive--turned it into "Attack on the Death Star" experience!

Looking forward to catch-up with the past...

Whilst the timeframe for this undertaking is somewhat daunting it offers a window of opportunity not thought possible not too long ago.

I wish both Julien and Nicholas every success and look forward to hearing their updates from time to time.

As the technology improves there's every reason to suppose that the progress will be accelerated.

Thank you Dean for the update.
