That RG Overseas chronograph on a matching bracelet is stunning!!! Last month I tried it on in Las Vegas, and they had the same watch on a leather strap, but to me the RG Overseas on the leather strap is like getting only half of the watch. IMHO, the bracelet really completes that watch. The way the Maltese Cross part of the bracelet looks in rose gold is just amazing.
Someone mentioned the weight of the watch on the bracelet, and to be honest, that was something I liked about it. To me it felt well balanced. I find that some heavy gold sport watches on rubber/leather straps often feel topheavy.
As for the bling factor, even on a strap the RG Overseas is not going to be as modest as a rose gold Malte DTR, so don't waste your time trying to go there. Sure it takes some confidence to wear an all gold watch on a gold bracelet, but if you don't already have one, just get it for what it is and enjoy it. Afterall, you already have a more modest looking watch in the form of the Malte DTR.
Its not often that a sports watch looks better in all gold than in steel, but IMHO in rose gold this watch stands head and shoulders above its SS sibling.
Good luck and let us know what you decide.
