VC Overseas Chronograph movement

Yes, another Overseas question from me!

Ok, I know the Overseas Chronometer Time/Date version uses a reliable, modified JLC 889 movement.

What about the Chronograph movement?  Is it based on a JLC movement as well?

Anyone know of any issues with the Chronograph movement?  How reliable, rugged has the movement held up?

Does the Date feature gradually switch over, or change over instantly?

Definately like the VC Chronograph more than it's main competitor the AP Royal Oak Offshore, due to the extra 50m Water Resistance, Anti-magnetic case, and the Anti-Reflective Crystal of the overseas.

It's a VC 1137 = Frederic Piguet 1185 Automatic.
