VC without Box and Papers, will VC service it?

Hi guys,

Will VC sercice a wathc without papers. Found a Vacheron on Christie's without box and papers. Will Vacheron Constantin service such watch?
Also, if you buy a watch at Christie's in Geneva. Besdies form the 25% buyers premium, do you pay any extra taxes when it is shipped to the US?

Thank you very much for any advice and feedback!

Yes, if it is a VC - if that needed stating. Famously, VC will, and can, service any watch they ever made. G

As Gary said, they will service any genuine VC, and Christies stands behind the authenticity of the watches they sell.  That being said, a watch without box and papers is worth less than one with them.  As far as taxes, you will pay for shipping and duty, but the duty is generally not that much.  They do not impose state sales tax as it is a foreign sale.
