a very interesting and rare triple date moon at Christie's May auction

this is one of those interesting pieces from the 1980s with a typical 80s case but typical 1940s two tone dial with vintage cal 485!

Lot 114 to be auctioned by Christie's in geneva on May19 ref  92232 with an estimate of CHF 10,000- CHF 15,000

Getting a 1980's VC with a 485 reminds me of those last  PP 2450s from the 1980's. At least this particular watch is affordable! :-) Bill

Beautiful dial. The lighting is poor, without doubt, and someone added their thumbprint too surprise.
Absolutely, very interesting reference

And funnily around the same period , Jaeger LeCoultre released a new version of their tear drop triple date with the vintage caliber. Superb piece.
I like this one...

Very elegant piece.  Would be great if VC recreates this for now...with their beautiful engraved moonphase.
Nice and Unusual!

If it only had the "&"  devil I always thought Cal 485 was without the moonphase and the Cal 495 was with the moonphase? BR, Dan
