new OS - Case, Movement, Dial, and Bracelet. Superb.
These are sports watches, but just notice the hand-finish on the movement...Superb.
Something to silence the critics.
I have really warmed up to the chrono. It was only the date window, but I have grwon used to it. Also, I really like the 5100.
I must admit, despite what I thought before SIHH, I like more the 3 hands than the chrono, remaining my overall favorite, the perpetual.
A thoroughly informative and enjoyable video.
Subject matter: beauty in abundance.
Thank you, Alex.
I did expect the MIssion Impossible theme while showing the adjustable bracelet feature, but the licensing rights would have been expensive, i guess.
I have to go with kk on this one - the chrono is high on my list. That lacquered blue dial is really great. I am glad that VC was able to do a sapphire back and still keep a little nod to the adventurous spirit on the rotor. Great design thinking. Love the watch. My wife is glad that it is not immediately available for purchase. Little does she know that a few months of cooling off will not make me want it any less.
That is a great video, real watch porn . When will the book(s) be available? Would be a wonderful enhancement to include a DVD as well .
Alex, do you think the OS design team, cases and movements, would particiate in a Q&A on their inspirations and challenges?
week for an interview ;-)
I'll start a seperate thread so the Loungers can post their questions
Fantastic video, Alex.
Thank you very much.
That brushed blue dial is really unbelievable - a great design move as is the quick-release mechanism.
I would like to know why the designers moved the date from 12 to 4 and thereby shrunk it. (looks more like the Zenith Chrono).
The movement looks superb. A book or DVD, as Dean mentioned, would be great to have a closer look.
