Vintage movements

I want to know more about the Vacheron movements. Caliber numbers, date, production numbers, another base...

Lets make a database !

And what about vintage models with pics?

not to spoil the surprise but the plan is to have a reference

section with modern and vintage pieces (not absolutely all of VC production but models representatve of VC) with production dates, technical data, variationes etc... but this is a huge amount of work so don't expect it to be done rapidly

Maybe we can help?

Alex, that would be a fantastic asset to the forum!  Is there anything we can do to help...editing, sorting, etc.?  Please let me know.

It would be great. Once the Ref page is up it would be great to have

the Loungers add watches and info, it should be an interactive process.

Thanks for the offer...

Wow! For that I will learn how to use the digital camera.

That is, in the somewhat unlikely event that I have something to photograph of you do not already have a better example.

Alex...This could fill several chapters in the book that
01/03/2008 - 17:43

can and Doc can write on modern (1900 - 2008) vacherons, this would be my xmas wish.

This is quite an under taking (vintage watch movements) alex and I know I speak for all the loungers if there is anything I/we can do to assist please do not hesitate to ask. I really like the idea as you publish the family of movements (and their genisis) fellow loungers then research what watch reference they were used on.

Thanks John, what I really would like from the Loungers is

patience . This will take quite some time especially since I have my "day time" job. I like the iidea of having the Loungers give the refs the movements were used in.

looking forward to it... :-) (nt)
