I have been trying to find out more information on my watch. I believe this is a 18kt Ladies watch, matching band and face but I cannot find much information on it. The face has Vacheron & Constantin Geneva, top half, Tiffany & Co above the 5/6/7 area and Swiss under the 6 on the front, the latch has Swiss, a symbol, 750, 7228, the back of the watch has 504699 and another stamp I cannot read under the serial number. It currently does not run and I am afraid to take it to someone that is not authorized to work on it and I'm nervous about shipping it to someone to clean. If someone could help me or direct me to a site that would give me more information and/or history I would greatly appreciate it.

What is the 7228 reference in the ad? Thank you for your help
I was going off your description. Unfortunately, I don't have a catalog pic of the 6898, but there are a couple of entries on Antiquorum action site. If you want to know more about the meaning of those markings, check this out: http://ticktalk.shawwebspace.ca/
LOL, my favorite quotes: "it does not currently run", and "I have done some research on the internet"
