Vintage VC Identification

I'm new to the forum and would like to seek your expertise. I came across this vintage VC and would like to know the reference and time period for this particular watch. Your help is much appreciated.

Produced sometime in the late '40s to mid-'50s, most likely. As far as the reference is concerned, we would need to see clear photos of the inside of the case back and movement.

Good advice

Tony is absolutely right that nothing can be determined until we see pictures of the movement and inside the case back, including serial numbers.  Although I'm sure several collectors here know what its trying to be, I hestitate to suggest a model Reference on the basis of your photo as there are many fakes and frankens in this style.

Did you just pick this watch out of the large selection on the table behind you?

That would concern me a little in terms of authenticity.  But the only way we can try and provide an opinion is for you to provide more information.

I posted this in April, and believe it still applies to anybody looking to check the authenticity of a VC timepiece.

A recommendation for people interested in checking the authenticity of a watch on THL

Thanks. Dean, that was part of my original thought when I posted it.  But I didn't see much feedback, so held off.
