Visit to Andover, Mass

I was in Boston last weekend for a conference and played "hookey" on Saturday morning (Ce veut dire en francais "faire l'ecole buissonniere" ou "sécher les cours") and went up to Andover to visit him at Royal Jewelers.
Well, talk about a kid walking into a candy store...!
It was great visiting with Bill again and of course trying on all those watches cheekycool. What a treat!
We had a very pleasant lunch nearby in an Irish pub with a lot of interesting discussions about watches (what else ??!)
But there was time for a few photos, of course.
Here are the 2 Contemporaines  (black-mine, white-Bill's) and a few wrist shots as well.

Now I did mention in my previous post about the OS being a "penultimate" watch.
Well, here is the "ultimate, in more ways than one!

I will say this: It was appropriate to have picked up that particular watch on that particular weekend! wink Joseph
OMG! I think I know what the mystery watch is....
10/11/2012 - 20:31
...I won't spill the beans by guessing, but mon dieu, Joseph!   You are on a tear!!! Obviously, it goes without saying that Bill is a very bad influence. I am honestly afraid to go ahywhere near Boston. The photos of the two Contemporaines are killing me.  Please stop. Please. Best, Robert
STOP, Is that a word?

It was nice to see you Joseph, and congrats on your "ultimate" watch. Your Patrimony Contemporaine is beautiful. I wish I could have them all. Bill
Thanks Bill

You heel! (LOL) Soon! I take some pics this weekend, I hope Joseph
SHAME on both Joseph and Bill!
10/12/2012 - 01:57
Joseph, you are a terrible role model - most people cannot keep up with the Joseph (or the Ed) !!! wink Bill, you are the embodiment of a VC enabler, keeping us addicted to these beautiful watches!  cool  I wished Boston was less than a 2 hour drive from NJ, because I felt bad for not coming up to see you.  But the way you succssfully keep convincing others to open up their wallets, maybe its better that there is a bit of distance between us?  indecision I love hearing about this trips and get togethers that Loungers have. To paraprhase our leader, Alexandre the Great:  may the watch only "chart" happy events! BR, Dan
Thanks, Dan. Bill is great at his job!

And he's such a nice fellow, it's hard to say "No!"  wink But hey, there are some wishes that cry out for fulfillment. It was just a question of time. Regards, Joseph
Congratulations....AGAIN!

I think you are referring to one of my grail watches. If so, then that great tribute of a watch has always been on my map but, alas, my budget won't allow me to explore such territory. Congrats again, mon ami. Best regards, Kazumidevil
Thank you Kazumi!
