A Visit to VC Boutique after a GTG

Arranged another GTG (possibly the last for this year, or maybe can squeeze in another one?) last Sun to share the recent visit to VC and Parmigiani Manufactures.  After the GTG, it was the visit to some watch boutiques at the Marina Bay Sands, and VC boutique is a must.  At this particular visit, focus was on complications, since my friend appreciated complications better, especially after getting his first complication from another Richemont brand.  Sarah, the helpful VC rep, showed us pieces after pieces, perpetual, tourbillions, equation of time.  Then these ... Métiers d’Art - Les Univers Infinis.

The effects on us was immediate. Eyes widen, mouths wide opened and hearts pounding (as if someone gave us an adrenalin jab).  Truly beautiful.  I was touched by them, not by their prices, but by the laborious effort that went into each piece.  Photos do NO justice, especially mine using a camera phone.  You would really have to see them in physical.  I particularly like the Fish and hope my friend whom I brought along, visiting the VC boutique for the first time, would buy it, so that I could get to see it again.  He can appreciate the watch very well and has pocket deep enough too ;p

I present to you the Métiers d’Art - Les Univers Infinis.

The doves showed different colours when viewed at different angle.  We thought it would look absolutely lovely for ladies.

It's a LUC Mark III in steel with micro rotor. Pardon the poor quality photo. Melvin
