That is an amazing line up, I was expecting some noveties but such a Grand Complication, different métiers d'art and High Jewellry!!!

Very impressive !

The white gold chamois is fabulous ! I love it, maybe one of my favourite since "les Masques" the Gabon white one.

Thanks Alex for sharing, I'm stunned.

Dear Alex,

Thank you so much for your hospitality in the new watches sharing and breatfast this morning (1 Oct 2014) at Watches and Wonders in Hong Kong.

It is a nice surprise to see Mr Torres and listen to his personal patrimony ultrathin minute repeater!

Great to see you, Dan, Robin and William: names that I have heard for a long time in Hour Lounge and other watch forums.

Looking forwards to seeing you again in the next gathering!

Have a nice trip to Tokyo for the next Hour Club function.

Best,

Henry

Love your World Time:-) was a pleasure meeting you. Always great to discuss with passionate

Watch lovers and hope to see you again soon

I saw a new piece on VC website which I do not think was

launched at WoW. It is a beautiful Traditionelle Automatic in Platinum.

I do not recall seeing this 'being launched'.

Alex, when you have time, please share pics. I think this is gorgeous.

Also I saw pics of the slate grey Patrimony's on the VC website. They look gorgeous.  For some reason I am falling in love with the simple manual wind Patrimony in either RG or the new RG with slate grey dial.

I promise you next time we meet again, I will bring you a nice tribute! :P

It was very nice to meet you and fellow VC collectors again at the morning presentation and the dinner!

I was very happy to meet old friends like yourself, Dan, Alberto, their lovely wives as well as new friends like Henry, Beran, William, David, Aaron and Thomas!

We had a great time, thank you Alex, Dan and VC for hosting us! :)

I will share some pics we took soon. :)

Cheers

the best part of these faits is getting to catch up with

old friends. Was great seeing you buddy

And getting poisoned by watches, either new on the presentation
10/03/2014 - 07:29

or current production/vintage models on collectors' wrists.

The Overseas Chrono blue dial started to take my attention again! It was on Ryan's wrist and I had to ask him to let me try it on! Now the poison is building up !

Arghhhh!!!

Cheers

As always it is a pleasure to walk in your footsteps, Alex.

smiley Quite a row of incredible watches. The Astronomical watch presented at last is bound to be a legendary piece. Absolutely a incredible technical tour de force and a superior design that is a feast for the yes yesyesyesyesyes. The rest of the presented watches have a lot of interesting features and one can relish in the fine craftsmanship and enjoy the details in each piece. Concerning the heavily engraved watch cases. I still have a hard time to truly appreciate it on a wrist watch. It appears to be almost vulgar for me compared to the elegance it can give when applied to a pocket watch. The craftsmanship is of course impeccable and intriguing to look at.

I know that I keep complaining about the new THL design. Are you aware of that none of all you photos can be enlarged? Am I really the only one who is missing that we can't enlarge the photos so that we can study and enjoy the details in the watches?  Cheers Kent.

Thank you for your kind words and interesting remarks Kent. As for the photos, if you

Click on them they open larger. This does not work for you?

Unfortunately not, the photos in your article can't......

be enlarged neither on my computer nor on my mobile phone. I have mentioned on several occasion my frustration about technical problems with the new site. I remember when I posted my first post at the old THL site with a lot of photos and text. It took me 15 minutes to learn to use the old site and it was a true pleasure to work with. Here in the new version, about eight months later I have quite simply given up. There isn't any point in posting / making any articles or showing photos of my watches / catalogs because simple operations don't function in an acceptable way. I have tried with several kinds of operating systems, on at least three different computers and it still does not work and I'm tired and frustrated about it.  If I sit down and make a comprehensive list lining up the problems, will you then pass it on to the person in charge of the page? All the best, Kent
Thanks Alex for your report from W&W and the beautiful photos.

Thanks Alex for your report from W&W and the beautiful photos.I love the World Time in Platinum and I'm deeply impressed by the Maitre Cabinotier Astronomica and hope I will have the opportunity to experience it in real life in the future.

The World Time in CEP was probably my favorite watch of the fair
