My weekend is being occupied by this indescribably simple "&."

Joe

Sweet piece...is it steel?
04/13/2008 - 21:08

And what model / calibre too please?  More pics would be appreciated cause I just luv the vintage V&C autos.

...per your request...
04/14/2008 - 01:08

yes, it is a steel piece Ref. 6562 driven by a caliber K1072/1 (certified with Geneva Seal and equipped with Gyromax Balance).

Made my week...

JoeSF, you've made my week!  The more pics the better...can we see the inside caseback and movement?

Too bad..I haven't taken any movement shot yet but I will later (nt)

04/13/2008 - 15:34

...I would have said you got the best looking OS, but having seen the pimpalicious RG OS with leather/rubber strap, I am not sure anymore...

Good start, Alex, now
04/13/2008 - 19:49

you only have to get the boat

See below !

Nice watch BTW,

but I'm a bit surprised too

Cheers

Doc

The new Multifunction?
04/13/2008 - 21:12

LOL...great watch Alex.  A very contemporary update to the OS Chronograph for sure.

Here is another picture of my cal. 1003 Patrimony in red gold:

This one...
04/13/2008 - 15:55

This.
04/13/2008 - 18:11

cheers

Doc

Does that apply for Art Deco? :-) You're a man of surprises!!
04/13/2008 - 18:16

.

You surprised me Sir!
04/13/2008 - 18:49

The ultimate Rolex. My only Rolex is Submariner.

This boat demands that watch !
04/13/2008 - 19:46

Fetched it yesterday 300 km's from here.

Now she is only shaking for sailing,

and so am I, but it's too d-d cold yet

She is fast and beautiful, not only centerboard,

it's sink keel with 180 kg in the bulb,

and the whole boat weights 450 kg.

Normal racing crew 2-3 persons, spinnaker,

but carries easily 5 persons onboard

Hardly no one of my watches, exept the DTR places,

but Alex has forbidden even that one

So what to do

Please have a look at sailing with this boat !

Cheers

Doc

that is one sweet boat!
04/14/2008 - 12:46

And I can understand that Alex has forbidden you to use your DTR while sailing...

Not a wrist shot but is the watch I am wearing right now.
04/13/2008 - 18:31

I doesn't get enough wrist time so took it out for the weekend

Gorgeous!
04/13/2008 - 18:54

Now prices have gone up so much for most brands, I hold my VCs dearly. Yesterday, I went to an AD, asking about some prices. The WG DTR costs more than 50% more than it was 3 years ago when I bought Malte chrono. The new Patek Aquanaut now costs MORE than my Malte chrono (bought Sept 2005)... I know I bought it 3 years ago but this is lemania based Malte chrono vs a simple 3 hand Aquanaut. Talk about value! Sorry for the rant...

If it get's to little wrist time,
04/13/2008 - 19:51

throw it to me

Cool and elegant, a bit envy

Mr L or Mr Platinum??

John, you have an amazing collection, and IMHO this is one of your crown jewels

That is a beautiful shot!

LOL, Definately Mr L, though I am very curious to see what
04/14/2008 - 13:24

they may come out for the platine collection. I really like the V&C chronographs would like to see a steel chronograph in the "Historique" line thats kept affordable.

Alex, do you have any hints or teasers along that line?????

Mr L

no teaser and no information on any steel chronograph :-( (nt)
04/14/2008 - 13:29
