Went to Vegas - saw some amazing VCs

Hey All,

Spent this week in Vegas for work.  It is really a watch lover's dream.  How many other places can you go that has a 2 authorized Vacheron dealers, 3 Patek dealers, 2 Lange dealers, and a couple Breguet, Blancpain, Jaeger Lecoultre, etc...

I got to try on the following very nice VCs.  There were many others, but these are two you don't always get to try on.

Sweet! (nt)

I was trying to recruit ten other people...

to try to get together an Ocean's 11 scenario to rob a casino in order buy some of these (allegedly).  Dan, there were so many nice pieces, it was incredible.  I just tried a few - but the had some Metier d'Arts, some Heures Creatives, some of those highly complicated pieces... so many beautiful and aspirational pieces.

I'll apply, now we only need 9 more :-) (nt)

Hello Roberto

It's funny, because the watch people enjoy my pictures of SIHH as much as I enjoyed seeing the great watches. They especially liked our 3 generations of overseas picture from dinner and your 222 and matching ring! You allowed me to make them think I was cool. Good to hear from you again, my friend.

I I can also tel you without a doubt that the VC Reps were the most knowledgeable watch people. By far.

I just have 3 things to say...

Wow, wow, & wow. (Where you see the '&' is an old-fashioned 'Wow!")

Hi Bill, I'm counting you in as part of JTodd 11...so 7 to go! ;-)

If we get enough by the weekend and pull the job off by Monday,  I leave the country on Tuesday.  cheeky

Had I tried to come home with one of these...

We would have had a different movie on our hands - The Hangover Part 4.  I would have needed Mr. Chow's services to smooth things over at home.  He would ask me this question and I would have to answer... not yet, but when the wife sees what I have done... then probably, the asnwer will become yes.

Had I tried to come home with one of these...

Amazing, isn;t it!

Lots of very nice watch boutiques and some amazing pieces.

Thanks for sharing the experience. It brought back memories.

...especially the tourbilloncheeky.

Re the Patrimony QP, I love the watch, save for its size - 43mm is a tad too big for me. I wonder if Christian and Vincent, if they had the opportunity, would keep the size as is, or would go back to something a bit smaller (41mm?)

Cheers,
