What are you wearing for Trick or Treat?

HAPPY HALLOWEEN everyone! What are you wearing for Trick or Treat?

Well, actually its already Nov. 1 here in Japan...but anyway, just wanted to know what everyone wears for Trick or Treating.

For me, its my RG Jubilee 1755 today.  The scan is old but it does give a good idea of the texture of the guillochage.

So why don't you guys give me a treat today by showing me some of your good stuff! What are you wearing for Trick or Treat?

Patience my good friend.

This weekend I hope to spend some time taking photos and will post a few.

But what I really want to do, with a little more time is make a screen-saver of my VC, and perhaps other watches; and with Alex's permission post it here for all to use.

Fantastic idea Joseph. Thank you for your great offer (nt)

Joseph you're such a tricky character :-) I love both !!!!!!
11/01/2007 - 09:21

JB, I am a jealous man ;-)
11/01/2007 - 17:27

You definitely have great taste, and an impressive collection of pieces!!!!

I cannot wait to see all the close-up pics... Are you trying to take the "Top Teaser" title away from Alex???

The cufflinks are also looking very nice!! Which brand, and where can they be found?

I'll take some pics of the cuff-links too. Each of the two is different.

The story behind them is short and a bit ironic.

You lucky guy !

This is as good...
11/01/2007 - 17:23

... as vintage gets (in my humble opinion...)

Every time I look at the fan lugs, I like them more...

Stunning, Alex
11/01/2007 - 22:26

That is a real beauty !

kind regards,

Nice watches (and cuff links) guys!!
11/01/2007 - 16:06

JB, JB, JB...you are killing me!!  Nice cuff links too...although I expected something with a Geneva seal from you...

Of course I love all of Alex' vintage chronos.  They don't quite make 'em like those anymore.

Wanna trade, Jefe?  BTW, that corrosion around the dial is called CHARACTER

no trick here. A treat however.....

my latest addition (cal 454/5b), no wristshot yet.

...cal 45x in steel and pink gold  circa 1947:

I know it desserves abetter picture so a better camera !

Hi Berny, that is a very nice piece you have got ! Is it a two-tone case indeed ? My guess is you have the 453 movement..since yours has a subseconds.

Would love to see a "daylight" pic.

Thanks for sharing,

kind regards,

hello Dutchclock,

Thanks for your comments, indeed this is a watch I like very much because of its elegance.

This watch is a dual tone: pink gold and stailess steel.

The movement is a cal V453.

I will try to shot better pictures tomorrow.

Kind regards,

Fantasic watces.. and BUTTONS !!

This I bought in Geneva 2005, at The Quarter of Millenium Vacheron Constantin auction by Antiquorum,

where Alex and I met physically first time !
