What's your summer watch?

On my side of the pond summer is here by name but not really by heat or sun! Nevertheless, it's the time of year where I'll be wearing mainly watches with rubber or kevlar straps.

Just put a rubber strap on my Quai de l'Ile which will be my official summer watch

What's your summer watch?

and will probably alternate with this one

What's your summer watch?

Mine are boring

I'd love to find an appropriate strap for this to wear as a summer watch as well.  My summers are in hot, humid, locales (I believe DutchClock did this with his Thunderbird).  I guees I can always get a non-OEM alligator strap and wear it out during the summer.  (which is what I already do, wink)
funk it up and put it on a kevlar or Nato strap ;-)

You know, Dan...

I had been thinking that getting a second Overseas would be difficult to justify to myself.  You lead by example, however, and now I see that perhaps I may.  An Overseas Automatic might be a nice companion to the Chronograph.  enlightened Best, Robert
Yes, Robert, it would....

Just call me Noah, as I do like pairs, :-)

Having 2 OS watches is very convenient.  They share summer and adverse weather conditions quite nicely.  They are my bracelet watches. With 2, whenever one is in for service (every few years), I always have one in hand so I don't get too many withdrawal symptoms.   (though, I think this may be more relevant for vintage watches, which generally take a little longer for service as they must be sent to Geneva). These 2 have been used during the summer as well, it relieves the wrist altogether! Bill is our resident watch "drug" enabler...so while he is charismatic and convincing...he can also be a devilin disguise! Best Regards, Dan
Its all red here

Been getting a lot of wrist time recently: Sorry Alex for taking part of your sea view with this, but being in the office, there isn't much scenary here (it just happens that this was the first to hit these English shores back in May - so an early traveller of sorts). And here is another picture a fellow purist took of it recently that speaks a lot to the Summer mood: Interestingly, I've just been wearing it with everything - haven't been too bothered about matching/clashing colours etc. Even my usual daily wearer at work (a VC, of course) has been sidelined.  Best, Walid
Gorgeous watch Walid it looks stunning!!! Love the Pimms shot :-)

Well, the Overseas Chronograph, of course.  I know a lot has already been written about the OS Chrono here, and even specifically about the US Edition, but one of these days I am going to bore you all with some additional thoughts on this watch. I continue to grow fonder of this great piece as time goes on and I wear it more.  It is a terrific summer watch, particularly on the rubber strap.

The AP Diver gets a lot of wear, pretty much daily wear.  One of the two Offshores I own/would like to own.  Finally, the JLC TTP'65 also gets a lot of wear in the summer.  It is diver after all, so good for a swim if the occasion arises. Enjoy your summer, everyone. Robert

It comes our in the Summer to reclaim its place on my wrist...

Like a crocodile coming out of its burrow at the end of the dry season in Africa...Only this time, we are talking about the very wet (humid) Summer here in Osaka, and instead of crocodile leather, the scale plate-like bracelet of my prehistoric OS chrono becomes indispensible...cheeky Kazumidevil
Still one of my favorites Kaz!

If I didn't have the military style/arabic numbers on the OS chronometer,  I would want it on the chronograph just like yours!  yes Prehistoric, maybe.....drop dead beautiful, to me - definitely. BR, Dan
When not at work I've been wearing....
