Where are the pictures?

My dear Aficionados,

Thought I should start with a Vacheron&Constantin from 1910.

In the future I will come back to the &.

Detail from when they had the time,

and the customer could afford it.

I'll still love it after many years,

hope you do too.

And I can't let be thinking of the Lady,

who wanted this dramatic little watch.

She must have been something very special :-)

Where are the pictures?

Cheers

Doc

The art work in this watch is just plain amazing! The close up

shows impecable craftsmanship.

How about scans of dial and movement?

I agree with uou I like the idea of the & as in Vacheron & Constantin it enables you to better assess that it was a true partnership between a genius watchmaker and an oustanding sales/businessman.

Not to forget Leschcot who actually invented the modern way of making watches with the creation of machines enabeling to make standard replacement pieces.

Hi Alex,

Yep, those hands are just so fantastic!

I'll promise to come back with better pics,

as soon as I can handle the new

camera equipment!

You, if anyone, knows how hard it to start with this new things,

so we better do it as soon as possible :-)

Cheers
