Where To Get Weave Pattern VC Bracelet Link?

Hi

I am new to this forum and was looking for resource for authentic VC gold bracelet link of weave/basket pattern. The pattern is reproduced on the bezel as well. Picture of the bracelet is given here. Its for Ref 7391 0 model. Would anybody know if the company sells or can have links for this as relevant information was not available on their website? Or my best bet is some other collector with spare link?

Where To Get Weave Pattern VC Bracelet Link?

Anybody wanting to give me additional information through message is more than welcome.

Thanks

Or rather is it Ref 7391 0 or Ref 7391 Q?? I couldnt find any 'edit' button hence had to add this additional post.

Where To Get Weave Pattern VC Bracelet Link?

It looks like 7391 Q but when I search on net, I donot find any such past sale of this model.

Would appreciate help on both the counts.

Thanks

Welcome to the Lounge, unfortunately these woven type bracelets don't have links! they

are in one piece and needed to be cut to fit the wrist of the wearer. In your case if bracelet is too short there is nothing that can be done unfortunately

Ohh! Yes I was wondering how would the links fit as there as no visible place where any joint could be seen. Yes, my bracelet is a bit tight. But that brings me to another issue: originally these would have been longer bracelet. How were these shortened? These must have been shortened from lugs side. If so, is there a theoretical possibility that links can be added>

Also, any idea on '0 VS Q'?

Thanks

I believe they were cut from the ends and not from lugs

Hi Alex, if they were cut from ends, even then that means there is a way to attach the end points to the bracelet which would mean that bracelet link is indeed a possibility. Isnt it so?

no as there are no "links" per se but a ribbon of gold so other than soldering

something back which would look quite bad. Why don't you contact VC in India and see if they can actually source a full bracelet for you (not sure any is readily available though as these types of bracelets considering the price were made on a single unit  basis)

Thanks. Followed your advise. Done that.

BTW, I love Woody Allen's quote!

Welcome to THL! Love the pattern of your watch dial and bracelet.

It should be a "Q" and stand for "Quantieme", the French word for "date".  Does your watch have a date function?

Best Regards, Dan

Hi Dan, that is a great investigative work: yes indeed my watch has date function!

Any idea of its tentative worth?

Thanks

Don't know about worth, but I see it's for sale on EBay (nt)
