Now I need leverage to go and negotiate with VC and have them accept to make these watches. Of course this is not binding but if we do go ahead with this project how many of you would be interested in one or the other of these?

Interested in both, but would prefer the CR
12/19/2007 - 14:13

Hi Alex,

I'd be interested in both especially since I voted for both as #1, but I like the CR a little bit more.

Price will be a realistic consideration for me though , so I hope the CR would be more within my budget constraints.

Thanks to Radek, the judges, and everybody else involved.  So far, this has been a fun project!

BR, Dan

Since I already have a CR, I have to say i would be interested in the Triple Date.  However, price would be a consideration, and i bet this complicated watch might be out of my price range.  But it is lovely!

The Creative Watch is incredible!

Thanks for putting all this together and good luck in your talks with VC!

Fantastic results...
12/19/2007 - 14:37

First, thanks to all participants, to the Jury, and to Radek for this faboulous idea!

Unfortunatly, I have to pass me turn (except if VC agree to offer to me an option to buy for in 3, 10, 15, 50, 100 years LooooooooL)

I really hope that this project will be concretized, thank in advance to Alex to negociate for the Loungers for these watches

really a fun contest!
12/19/2007 - 15:32

I'm glad we all had such a great time with the contest. Now Alex needs to get to the serious matters with VC. I will keep my fingers crossed all along .

I'm in for Chronometre Royal .

I was hoping for a Bi-Retro in Sputnik case but it came as a first runner-up...

I will take the triple date, it just grew on me...

Thanks to all that were involved in this contest, it was a lot of fun and interesting to see other ideas.

I would be interested in both of these watches, but leaning more towards the CR. All depending on how generous Vacheron is feeling around the holiday season!!!

BOOOOOYAAAAA!!!!!!!!! :-)
12/19/2007 - 17:10
Oh yes, I'm a VERY VERY happy man!!! :-) I REALLY enjoyed the contest, but I like it even more now that the Triple Date has won the Complicated watches! Alex, you can DEFINITELY put me down for one Triple Date (as long as the price doesn't go through the roof...). Alex, I TRULY hope you can convince VC to go through with the project... I am writing this post from my Blackberry, but if I was writing it from home I would include on on thousand hearts and little happy heads (including the cool one with shades). Again, THANK YOU for this Uber Cool contest, and good luck Alex in convincing VC of making another one of my dreams come true! Cheers, Veillotron
One CR for me!!!!! (don't forget the "&")
12/19/2007 - 17:46

Thanks Alex and Radek and the Jury and the photoshoppers!!!

Please be a hard negotiator .....

What a contest Alex!!!
12/19/2007 - 18:12

Very nice selection and a great thank you to Radek for his good starting idea.

Like the other Loungers, I need to know the price level (reality, reality...), but also to have a better idea of the final shots, even if Fred's work is exceptional. The VC specialists have to talk now... and you too for convincing them...

Good luck Alex

One CR for me too>>>
12/19/2007 - 18:46
and I will be proud to show it all over the world. Thanks to everyone, this contest rocked! Best, Tim
Great choices...
12/20/2007 - 03:51
I'm most interested in the CR, whether or not it would remain chronometer-certified for economic reasons. We can talk about price privately.Bill
I have good & bad news
12/20/2007 - 05:26

The good news is: I won't be spending any money on the watch...

BUT the bad news is: I won't have the Lounger's watch as the one I was eyeing for didn't win...I wish we all could have a special watch that bears our individual names & Loungers' logo but in reality having a watch that EVERBODY likes is very difficult.

So, I dunno how to react...actually sadder than happier. But it's ok, I feel proud that I took part of the contest as a Lounger and for now, my boutique patrimony will serve me well for many years to come! (My Malte is safe in the safe )

Great project !!!
12/20/2007 - 11:46

I am interested in both. However the cost would be crusial since I still have to buy the dual time one. I think that Bills idea on the non chronometer-certified version of CR is great. Perhaps a Patrimony movement with the Geneva Hallmark.

A big thanks to Radek for the idea,  to the jury, to Fred and ofcourse to everybody that participated.

Also congratulations to JohnLy and Veillotron for their ideas.

thanks George! (nt)

First of all, thank you for the jury members for succeeding in the first stage of this event, and to give the watch a creative award. I’m glad to know that though it’s design is not typical VC style, some of you find it interesting.

This contest has been a challenging & compelling one, from the viewpoint of sharing VC lovers’ taste for watches, and hopefully there will be a sequencial episode.

I like both.
12/21/2007 - 06:39

I would have to see the final design and prices but I think I would like to own at least one of them.  I have a CR and not a Triple date, so I would opt first for the Triple Date.  Good luck with VC Alex!
