World of Vacheron Constantin

Hi guys,

I know some of you are looking for this book. I have seen one yesterday evening up for sale (with a "buy now" option) on Fleabay (and it's still on). As I already have ordered "Secrets of Vacheron Constantin", I thought I'd go with this one book first and take my time (this is what it is all about, right?).

I also have spotted a used one for sale on Amazon and there's apparently a French version available (for those of you who read French) on la FNAC website.

Enjoy and have a nice day World of Vacheron Constantin

Tacha, If you talking about he Flammarion book, I suggest you buy the english version as the french one is missing some high definition polices (fonts). Regards, Bernard

Thanks Berny! I was not planning on buying it, it was just in case some people would be interested to know it exists.

World of Vacheron Constantin and Secrets of Vacheron Constantin are two different books!World of VC came long before and as a book is 100 times better, considering history of the firm and cultural history in general from 1755 to 1960 ! One of the best books I read ! Secrets of VC are as a book nothing to read, but contains more modern colour pics. On the other hand World of VC are to us, who looks for vintage watches from 1900-1940 a goldmine, with hundreds of black and white pics in the end of the book, with production number and year ! Above that, there are some fantastic colour pics, better than Secrets of VC but not so many. Just my two crowns Doc
I agree with Doc.

I bought this book upon his recommendation, and it's really full of details and pics. It also shows the historical environment of VC through centuries.
Ah, thats a nice recommodation from my friend :-) (nt)
