That was a hot watch. The RG/Choco Malte Tonneau Chronograph for the US market wasn't so bad either.  Chocolate dials do seems to have been a fad that has passed. Anything along those lines upcoming from VC? Bill
I don't have the guts to wear an all gold watch but a chocolate

First of all it was very nice to see you in good shape and with a smile , second it wasn't hard to see which watch that was Bill's It's already a classic. I prefer the blue contra chocolate, which I not like all at Dials. White, silver, black and blue is OK. Yes, PT is OK too How long is it since you bought it, must have beeen one of your first? Carpe Diem Doc

The Overseas Chronometer with blue arabic dial was the first VC I purchased, and I bought it in August 2001. One year after that I had four VC's in the collection! By the end of 2003 I had decided to go "all in" with VC and traded and sold all my non-VC watches.  As you know I have a very expensive watch on order from an independent maker and have sold most of my VC's to fund it, but this Overseas is a keeper. Same here, I'm selling out to get space for something new. I had my collecting of VC's growing since 2004, steadily, now it's just to much! Sold one some days ago and a lot more is waiting to be sold. Will be fun to show our new catches Give my regards to your family Take care Mats

I'd love to wear it, but not everyday

I loved seeing Tom's OS Chrono at the NY Hour Lounge dinner.  I don't think I'd be able to wear it everyday, too heavy (in more ways than one ).  But it would be great for some special occassions.  Alex, when are you going to invite us onto a yacht off of the Riviera?  I'll mug Tom before I get on the plane.

I think you'd have to bring Daisy with a cast iron frying pan to hit me with to get that one off my wrist! Best regards, Tom
