There is a tremendous amount of information that can be distilled from this article, and I'm sure it will take me a long time to absorb it all.

The pcitures and history are marvelous.  Thanks Alex, I know this couldn't have been done on a whim and must have taken a lot of your time.  I am most definitely looking forward to Part II.
