how can i verify if it is authentic?

i recently found a watch...i've seen it on web as the Vacheron Constantin Malte Grande Classique (Model #:81000/000j-8975) but on it's back it isn't wrote this number but 737998 (and the 750 from gold i think becouse i went with it at the goldsmith and he told me it is real gold ..28g of gold)...i've seen a different thing at it...different from de model 81000...the second hand it isn't black but gold

Im not an expert so I cant answer you with the info your giving but can you please show us a scan/pic of the watch. Normally it will take some seconds for Alex, Doc and rest of the experienced guys around here to spot a fake from a scan.

...and if the price of the watch is more like $100 then $10000 you know that its to good to be true.

i've compared the picture you've shown me kcc, with the watch...it has only 1 rubin instead of 3....

i've tried also to make a picture of the watch but it doesn't have clarity

good one because it is impossible to comment without seeing it
