And here it is Loungers: the Overseas perpetual calendar chronograph in steel and titanium.

One of the coolest Overseas I have comme accross, fiercly masculine and visually arresting with the different contrasts of the steel case, titanium bezzel, grey dial and mustard hands

The case is 42mm in diameter and houses the automatic caliber 1136QP

The only downsize is that the watch is limited to 80 pieces available only in VC boutiques.

Is delivered with a grey croc strap and a black rubber strap.






















notice the numeral 4 indicating the leap year is the same color as the hands!

Have a look four times before posting a reply. Looks interesting to combine this 2 great complications. QP seems to be more legible than Chrono data on this version compare to the gold or platinium VC in the 90's. To be seen in a Boutique to fully appreciate it. Alex, could you give us more details on this calibre and for this specific overseas height of the case and Water proof value. Thanks for sharing in exclusivity this new model. Cheers, Liger

caliber it is based on the Piguet 1185 chronograph with a perpetual calendar module

first used in the 49005

and having a fondness for iconic movements, it was the reason I recently acquired this BP QP/Chrono from 2002. Among the wonderful features of the 1185 is that you can leave the chrono mechanism running continuously without harming the movement, which is not true for many other chronograph movements. Not sure that you would even want to do that on the Overseas since it appears to have constant seconds at 6 O'Clock, but nice to have the option.

Hi Alex. As a 47212 owner I love QP Chronos. This one is a beauty. Do you know the list or price? There is a 49095 in platinum available at a reasonable price and since the movements are similar but different from my 47212 I woyld like to compare the two watches. Thanks. Joe

I love it, it totally lives up to my expectations. The yellowish hands are a great addition and the lack of the typical OS inscriptions on the dial is a big plus. I wold love to see the engraved moonface on his model but this is obviously reserved for special pieces.

How is the legibility of different complications, Alex?

indications are on the same subdials but rapidly legibility is no longer an issue

Hi Alex,

Really a beautiful watch. I think VC was very cautious in lauching a perpetual calendar & chronograph in a sporty model.

I personnally appreciate the Overseas in rose gold with chocolate brown dial. It is more casual chic, no doubt. I also believe VC will have also good new surprises in the future for the Overseas collection with complications.

It is a good thing to have a perpetual chronograph in teh Overseas lineup.  But I think it would be even better if it were available going forward as a limited production piece.  It would expand the Overseas product line with a higher-end complication model. 

In any case, it is a beautiful watch.  The only thing I am missing is an applied Maltese Cross somewhere on the dial.

Sorry about the split post. I would love to trade in my 2 OSs for this one, but VC just isn't willing to do so. This is the nicest OS I've ever seen. Great, complicated piece, but designed for everyday use. I think a PC has to be used as a daily watch, otherwise what's the point:-). You also need the chrono with you at all times for those moments in life when you really want to use one. BR, Dan
