May I add a few other calibres(View entire thread)June 29, 09 10:00 Besides Cal. 1003 and the ones that Doc and Alex have posted above (and there are many very old movements that don't even have names, i.e. the pocket watch movement Doc displayed), I can think of a few others that would be a part of VC's Hall of Fame movements: cal. 453 (just like the 454 that Alex mentioned, but with a sub-seconds hand) cal. 1001/1002 cal. 1007BS/1008BS cal. 1071/1072 cal. 1120 These vintage cals also have their variations (with date, with second hand, free-sprung, etc. but they are all beautiful, mechanical, pieces of art). There is information on a lot of these calibres in the Recommended Threads section. What other calibres do the Loungers think would be a part of this list (i.e. VC's Hall of Fame)? I'm sure some of the newest in-house movements will be future members of the Hall of Fame, but I think it requires time to tell.
