The case and dial are consistent with VC from the early 1960's. Certainly the hour markers look like those VC used, but it would be nice to get a closer look to see their exact shape, particularly the ends.
It also looks like there has been some text worn off just under the Maltese Cross. This is where the words "Vacheron Constantin, Geneve" usually appear. You need to look at that area under magnification.
The lugs and crown including the slight indentation where the crown sits are also very suggestive.
However,to be more definitive, one would have to see the movement and inside of the case and see the numbers there (ie case number and stamps, movement S/N and type).
