Can you tell how old each of the 2 choices are? Do you know what the condition of the movements are in? I'd be more concerned with making sure the movement is in top shape. Based on the written descriptions and assuming both movements are in the same condition - I'd go for the round one. I think it would be a better complement to your current watch and the slightest signs of deterioration would not bother me if it was a vintage watch (if it was from the 80s or 90s, I might be a little bit more concerned). I just bought a 1953 ref. 4310 for my wife with slight deterioration at the edge between 9-10 o'clock. I can't really see these unless its under 10x magnification.
